Supergrass 13/1 January-April

The winter issue of Supergrass magazine is available now and will be arriving with subscribers in the next day or two.

Supergrass 13/1 for January to April 2013 has all the usual content for the off-season. A round-by-round preview of the 2013 championship looks forward to what we all hope will be a dry summer of Autograss racing and we also look back at the difficult year just completed with the usual detailed championship review. There’s also news and a review of the ever popular Nottingham Winterseries.

This will be the last Supergrass magazine as the British Autograss Series, to which the magazine has always been linked, has decided not to continue with the block subscription that has seen the ‘official magazine of the championship’ distributed directly to registered racers.

Catch up time!

We’ve been a bit slack at keeping the website up to date this year, so it’s time for a bit of a catch up. The start of the British Autograss season  was a little confusing: poor weather forced the postponement of round one, and then round two was cancelled and swapped with round five, except that the postponed round one was rescheduled to become the new round five… well, you see what we mean.

Anyway, things are well underway now and, in the middle of a good (if slightly wet) season of racing, we have published three issues of Supergrass, 12/2 in July, 12/3 in August and 12/4 earlier in September. You can subscribe to Supergrass from the links on the right, or buy a copy of the current issue. If you want one of the previous issues, use the ‘current issue’ link and use the ‘notes to seller’ space in PayPal to tell us which issue you’d like.

Supergrass 11/5

Supergrass 11/5 (September 2011) is published today and features the full story from the fourth round of the Kent Cams/Simpson Race Exhausts British Autograss Series at Magor in South Wales. Hosted by the WASA League, the event was a great success and clearly the best of the BAS rounds so far this year.

We also cover the release of dates for the 2012 British Autograss Series, the continuing story of drivers and marshals working together and the likely return of ‘the best front-wheel drive racer in the sport’. BASGas is full of the usual cheap shots and we review the National Championships in which Rob Corbett retained the crown. This and much more in the new Supergrass.

Supergrass 11/4

Supergrass 11/4 (August 2011) was published on July 29 and tells the full story of what happened – and what did not happen – in the biggest ever Autograss event, the third round of the Kent Cams/Simpson Race Exhausts British Autograss Series event hosted by the Wiltshire League at Javelin Park. This issue we also take a look at the role of marshals in Autograss, those often maligned volunteers without who there would be no racing. BASGas leads with the marvellous new Daewoo Matiz (honestly) of Dave Kings and moves on to feature a naked Vinny Gibbons…  All this and the usual mix of news and the vital championship points and statistics.
